TECHNOLOGY

Your enjoyable dental experience depends on your comfort and safety. Dr. Mueth and his team utilize the latest technological advances in dental equipment and techniques to ensure your satisfaction with both your visit and continued excellent health.

CEREC™

CEREC™ is a technological system that allows for the fabrication of all-ceramic tooth restorations in a single visit. Many restorations require several visits to the dentist, but with CEREC's™ system, a natural-looking restoration that has many of the properties of natural teeth can be custom created for you in less time, assuring you of a more comfortable dental experience. A clean, digital impression of your teeth allows you’re your dental team to create a customized, porcelain restoration on site, while you wait. Instead of being fitted for a temporary crown and returning for a second appointment, Dr. Mueth can place your complete, natural-looking, beautiful restoration on the same day.

IDENTIFI

Your oral health is important, and the FDA approved IDENTIFY oral cancer screening system provides you with a quick, safe and comfortable way to detect oral cancer when it is the most treatable. Each year, more than 31,000 people are diagnosed with oral or pharyngeal cancer, and half of them do not survive because the cancer is not diagnosed early enough. Early detection raises the survival rate to as much as 80%.

IDENTIFI uses a safe blue light, without the aid of stains or rinses, to detect tissue abnormalities in the earliest stages, before they reach the surface and become visible. It takes only 5 minutes to protect your health and prevent you from becoming a statistic. Ask Dr. Mueth or his team today about this powerful new tool.

DIGITAL X-RAYS

We offer digital radiographs (X-Rays). Digital radiographs us less radiation and are safer for you than traditional film x-rays. You will find that Dr. Mueth researches the latest trends in technology to find the solutions that promote your overall health, safety and comfort.  Radiographs are a necessary diagnostic tool in the field of dentistry.  More than half of each tooth is hidden and surrounded by bone.  The only way to truly evaluate the health of your teeth and bone surrounding your teeth is through the necessary, diagnostic radiographs.

SLEEP APNEA/SNORING

If you or a loved one snores, you are likely aware that snoring often accompanies fitful sleep. Severe snoring may also be a sign of a more serious problem like sleep apnea. Sleep apnea occurs when an individual stops breathing for an extended period of time during sleep. Snoring happens when the soft palate relaxes to the point of cutting off the airway. Snore appliances are designed to comfortably hold the airway open during sleep. There are a wide variety of snore appliances available to you. Let Dr. Mueth select the right one that fits your needs.

DIAGNODENT®

The DIAGNOdent® - a small portable laser unit - finds small cavities when they are first forming and can be missed by other detection methods. The benefit to you is cavities can be stopped at their earliest stages. Like every area of medicine, early detection and treatment is always the best option for the patient.

INTRAORAL CAMERA

An intraoral camera lets you see inside your mouth during both treatment planning and dental procedures.  Our intraoral camera displays your teeth on a monitor or tablet, allowing Dr. Mueth to walk you through your proposed treatment.  The use of this camera allows us to work with you as a team to meet your dental goals.
